An Integrated stock management-dealer management-sales report system:
This project was done for a pharmaceutical company having branches all over India. This software will help them manage their stocks, have inventory under control and get periodic stock report.
The system was created in such a way that it does multi tasking – stock management, dealer management, and sales report generation. The dealers will be able to order online and the goods will be shipped from the nearest depot. The expiry dates of the medicines are taken into the system and the system will intimate the administrator as and when the expiry date comes. The dealer’s track record, current order, credit limit etc will be sent to the administrator. This system will also work as a complete dealer management. This will help the client to categories the dealers and set their credit policy etc.
There can be periodic sales report generated; the report can be for any specific time period. This will help the client to identify the most lucrative product line, dealers who sold maximum products and also according to geographic locations. The product is a complete system that will eliminate the need for a separate dealer management-stock management –sales report generation tools. This cuts down the cost significantly.
e- Conferencing tool:
The product was developed for an e-teaching company to mentor its students all over the world. The system is hosted in the client’s central server. This product is built exclusively for e-teaching and hence the whole system is optimized to suit this particular need rather than being a generic conference tool. This tool can be used for any kind of teaching purpose from kinder garden to advanced level. All high level mathematic symbols and scientific tables were integrated to the system. The product is built to suit the low band width scenario that many counties face. Our expertise in sophisticated echo cancellation techniques helped us to deliver a better audio clarity (VOIP) to the client. The system is cost effective when and is indigenously built to suit the needs of the client.
Automated Heart Vavular Anamoly Detection From Phonocardiograms (PCG)
This project involves developing USB/Serial port compatible device to acquire the PCG signal and Feature Extraction and Classification of PCG signals for automated disease detection. Advanced adaptive filters were used which used ambient noise to design filters for removing noise from the acquired PCG signal. This system can identify Heart Valvular defects without the need for Echocardiograms.
Advanced Correlation techniques were used to perform extraction of the key features (Systolic and Diastolic times, presence of murmurs, S1 and S2 durations). Synchronized averaging and neural networks based on the identified features were used for disease detection. One of the unique features of this technology is that the feature extraction from PCG signals is done without using any other reference signal (ECG is used usually).
An Advanced Compression System for Bitonal Images
This system was designed to compress bi – tonal images (Black & White). The primary areas of applications include fax transmission and scanners. The compression algorithm had to be designed in a manner that could be easily ported to different hardware platforms.
The advanced algorithm that we used included separation of independent characters from the image, adjusting any skew in the page and also identifying the reading order (direction in which the text is read). This was done to ensure we there is a high redundancy in localized regions of the image. Advanced pattern matching techniques were then used to build a dictionary of characters for a given image, which was then encoded.
This algorithm was later ported to various hardware platforms with intensive platform specific optimization.
